For pain management.
Cryoneurolysis as a tool for long-lasting peripheral pain relief. Developed and delivered in partnership with Dr. Rodney Gabriel and supported by Inomed.
The only structured training program focused specifically on this technique — combining scientific lectures, live ultrasound practice, and supervised patient demonstrations in the heart of Copenhagen.
Dr. Igor FilipovskiBy precisely identifying nerves with high-resolution ultrasound, clinicians apply cryoneurolysis in a controlled manner — providing long-lasting pain relief or reducing spasticity while preserving surrounding tissue.
The use of ultrasound guidance allows for accurate needle placement, improved safety, and optimal treatment outcomes. It is the foundation on which every workshop at the academy is built.
Each workshop is intentionally focused on two specific procedures — giving participants the time to concentrate on relevant anatomy, ultrasound technique, and procedural detail. By the end, physicians are prepared to begin performing these procedures in their own practice.

Reducing spasticity through targeted motor-nerve cryoneurolysis. Co-developed with Dr. Paul Winston and supported by Metrum Cryoflex.

Founder of the Copenhagen Cryo Center Academy, established in 2025 to advance education and clinical excellence in ultrasound-guided cryoneurolysis.

Leads the academy's pain-focused workshops, bringing extensive clinical experience in peripheral nerve techniques and interventional pain management.

Leads the academy's spasticity-focused training, contributing multidisciplinary perspectives from physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Provides high-quality ultrasound imaging equipment used across all academy courses.
Supports the academy's pain-focused workshops with specialized cryoneurolysis equipment.
Collaborates on the academy's spasticity training programs with dedicated cryo technology.
A focused program covering ultrasound-guided cryoneurolysis for two of the most common chronic pain presentations: low back pain and post-mastectomy pain.
Low back pain
Post-mastectomy pain
Co-developed with Dr. Paul Winston and supported by Metrum Cryoflex — focused on motor-nerve cryoneurolysis to reduce spasticity. Full program details will be published soon.
