Established Copenhagen, 2025

A dedicated academy for ultrasound-guided cryoneurolysis.

The only structured training program focused specifically on this technique — combining scientific lectures, live ultrasound practice, and supervised patient demonstrations in the heart of Copenhagen.

01 — The Technique

A minimally invasive treatment that uses targeted freezing to interrupt peripheral nerve signaling.

By precisely identifying nerves with high-resolution ultrasound, clinicians apply cryoneurolysis in a controlled manner — providing long-lasting pain relief or reducing spasticity while preserving surrounding tissue.

The use of ultrasound guidance allows for accurate needle placement, improved safety, and optimal treatment outcomes. It is the foundation on which every workshop at the academy is built.

i.
Minimally invasive
No surgical incision; a single needle pass under live imaging.
ii.
Tissue-preserving
Targeted cold disrupts the nerve without damaging surrounding structures.
iii.
Long-lasting relief
Months of symptom reduction from a single outpatient treatment.
iv.
Ultrasound-guided
Real-time visualization of nerve, needle, and cryo zone.

02 — Our Approach

Comprehensive theory, paired with hands-on practice.

Each workshop is intentionally focused on two specific procedures — giving participants the time to concentrate on relevant anatomy, ultrasound technique, and procedural detail. By the end, physicians are prepared to begin performing these procedures in their own practice.

01.
Scientific lectures
Anatomy, ultrasound fundamentals, patient selection, and procedural planning — delivered by leading clinicians in the field.
02.
Ultrasound practice
Live scanning on volunteer models to build confident probe handling and pattern recognition of relevant anatomy.
03.
Supervised hands-on
Needle placement and cryoneurolysis technique rehearsed on phantoms under one-to-one expert supervision.
04.
Live demonstrations
Observe real patient procedures from assessment through treatment — the full clinical workflow, unedited.
03 — Workshops

Two clinical tracks, each anchored around two focused procedures.
